I came to Banyan after trying 2 other treatment centers and this place was by far the best. You are a real person to them and not just a number. The staff is amazing and they handled any issues that arose in a timely and professional manner. It's not just for veterans, I was one of the only non-vet during my stay and I felt very welcomed. A few staff members deserve special recognition as they made the biggest impact on me:
The case manager was extremely hard working and handled everyone's needs with appointments and aftercare plans. The intake coordinator went above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable and special as individuals.
And of course, my therapist was especially amazing and made herself available to me anytime I needed during clinical hours. She provided a safe and comfortable environment for me to grow and heal.

To my fellow veterans struggling for their sobriety and sanity, this is the place to get some peace of mind. They have sober living facilities with well equipped cute little apartments and some of the most awesome staff on hand that have had their own struggles themselves so they are highly relatable and make you feel at home, NOT Judged! Banyan Alaska has a great clinical team, staff will help you push throughout your journey to recovery. The road is tough, but everyone there has one thing in mind, you.
